Training course „Good refrigeration practice“

On 29 and 30 October 2020, in Podgorica, in the premises of the Secondary Vocational School “Ivan Uskoković”, the training course “Good refrigeration practice” was organized for refrigeration and aircondition service technicians. Workshop was organized, as a part of actvities in the frame of Project “HCFC phase out management plan”  by  Nature and Environmental Protection Agency in cooperation with UNIDO.


The topics of workshop were: ozone layer and the problems caused by its depletion, national and international legislation related to this area, good practice in handling ozone-depleting substances, alternative substances, collection, recycling and regeneration of refrigerants and the possibilitys of use refrigerants that do not deplete the ozone layer.


An appropriate promotional material were given to the participants (Booklet „ Ozone and you“, leaflet „Implementation of Montreal protocol in Montenegro“ and CD containing: Manuals “Training manual for refrigeration service technicians”, “Good Service Practice in Refrigeration”, „Good Servicing  Practices for Flammable Refigerants“, Kigali fact sheet and UNEP’s video file „Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technician Video Series Techniques, Safety and Best Practice“ with subtitles in Montenegrin language).

After the workshop,  certificates were handed to the participants.
